RADISH
VEGETABLE SEEDS(Raphanus sativus). Sow thinly 2.5 cm. deep in moderately manured soil. Salad radish can be sown throughout the year in all but the coldest areas, taking 4 - 6 weeks to mature. Winter types are usually sown late summer/autumn for winter use, maturing in around 3 months. 100 s/g

SALAD RADISH:

1863: Fireball
Wilt resistant round red roots with short tops. Best harvested when 3 cm across.

1861: French Breakfast
Cylindrical scarlet roots tipped white 5 to 8 cm long. Crisp, tasty and attractive.

1867: Plum Purple
Sweet firm white inside, attractive purple outside, the round roots are excellent mixed with other varieties.

The true Munich Beer Radish with strong tops and pungent flesh. The juicy seed pods can also be used.
